The joint providership process begins before the activity is promoted or delivered. MyCMECE reviews eligibility and feasibility, confirms responsibilities, guides educational planning, completes compliance and content review, supports implementation, and closes the activity file after learner completion.

Steps for Joint Providership Process

Submit the Activity Inquiry

Provide the organization, audience, topic, format, dates, requested credits, funding, faculty status, and current planning stage.

Eligibility and Feasibility Review

MyCMECE evaluates the organization, activity concept, timeline, audience, funding, and requested services.

Scope and Agreement

The parties define services, responsibilities, fees, deliverables, review timelines, technology, reporting, and record-retention responsibilities.

Educational Planning

The planning team documents the practice gap, educational need, target audience, objectives, educational format, faculty, assessment, and intended outcomes.

Compliance and Content Review

Disclosures, financial relationships, mitigation, content validity, promotion, support arrangements, assessments, evaluations, and learner materials are reviewed.

Activity Delivery

The activity is delivered according to the approved plan using the required learner information, attendance, assessment, and evaluation processes.

Credit Claiming and Documentation

Eligible learners complete the applicable requirements and receive accurate completion documentation.

Closeout and Reporting

Attendance, evaluations, assessment data, financial records, outcomes, certificates, and final documentation are reconciled and retained.

Recommended Planning Lead Time

Organizations should begin as early as possible. Activities with multiple professions, external funding, complex faculty, enduring content, or custom technology generally require more planning and review time.
